Recruiting for Bank Jobs
Banking professionals are seeking a banking job that matches well with their bank career aspirations. Whether it is a London Banking Job or a wider fit of a UK Banking Job, your banking job advert should be focussing on attracting the right banking professional.
Of course the same logic applies if it’s a banking job in the Middle East, a Banking Job in Scotland or any other location for bank jobs.
Taking a Bank Job is a big decision for any banking professional; it’s worth remembering that the first filter any bank professional will look for in a bank recruiter is the bank job advert.
Make sure the bank job advert is aimed at the right level of banking professional. If it is a London Bank Job for a Bank Analyst job - state clearly what level of banking experience is required. Avoid making your Banking Job advert a wish list. There are very few super humans (that we know of) reading our bank job adverts - so please make sure your e.g. Bank Analyst job advert, is not asking for experience, skills or qualifications that aren’t needed.
Things to consider when writing a Banking Job Advert
Who is the Banking Job Aimed at? If the Banking Candidate needs a certain skill set e.g. An expert in Asset Management is needed – explicitly state that in the advert . Likewise if you can narrow down the banking candidate pool by stating other must haves’ e.g. a Job in Asset Management with fluent French, state that too.
Have you clearly stated the remuneration and potential package for this Bank job? Many Job boards – including this one – give a range of salaries in which to categories the bank job advert, however if you can state clearly at the top of the bank job advert – e.g. £75-100,000 base salary, up to 100% bonus plus other executive benefits, it gives confidence to the bank candidate that this banking job has the right profile for their banking job search.
Where is this banking job located? Our bank job board insists on a location being “ticked”. However, if you are advertising elsewhere – be sure to include the base for the banking job you are recruiting for. Bank Analyst Manchester will attract a different response to Bank Analyst London.
If it is a Banking Job in the UK, for example, are there possibilities for non-UK residence? If you have visa restrictions for your banking job be sure to list them. If it is a Banking Job in Dubai – will the candidates know of any restrictions of working there?
What are the prospects of your banking job? If the banking job you are advertising is a Back-office support job and, for example, there is the prospect of moving to a middle-office banking job – state that in the job advert. Perhaps also mention the timeline of the potential promotion within the bank from Back-office to middle office.
